Weekend Bust

 Weekend Shmeekend?
I love the weekends. They are always filled with friends, dinner, and parties. If they are not filled with those they are a scene from a love story. The one where the hubby and wife are cuddled up on the couch for the whole day without a care in the world. Those are the best weekends.
But this weekend was neither of those. This weekend was the lonely wife hanging out with her children (dogs) watching her trashy tv shows. The hubby was pretty busy this weekend with Ironman friends, boys night, and working at the shop. BOOO...
We did get the chance to head out to the Ironman for a few hours on Saturday. It was such an awesome thing to watch these amazing athletes push their bodies as hard as they could to achieve these goals. I may have cried when the first place guy passed me on the course after climbing this huge hill of death. It was inspiring. They are having a half Ironman next year. Maybe if I could get my butt in gear I could sign up? But probably not. We were supposed to go running this morning, and that didnt work out. haha
So here is what my Friday and Saturday night. Catching up on Desperate Housewives, Secret Life, Private Practice, Greys Anatomy, GCB, and started Nip/Tuck. Exciting right?

  3. I wish they were doing a full there next year. My mom was totally bummed - she was planning to race St. George next year but now it's only a half. :( Check out my Ironmom here... http://thecyclistswife.blogspot.com/2011/12/ironman-arizona-2011-my-ironmom.html
