Remember to Always say "I Love You"

Over this last weekend there were 5 guys killed in St. George. It was so sad. While I did not know these boys personally, I still knew who they were and we exchanged the occasional "hello". They were killed in a plane crash which you can read about here. My heart goes out to the families and close friends of these men. They are greatly missed, and will forever be loved. I could only imagine what it would be like to loose your child as I don't have one of my own. I can only imagine the heart ache that their mothers, fathers, and family are experiencing from this loss. I pray that the Lord is with them, comforting them in this time of grief, and that they can feel His love.

While this is such a sad thing that happened, how lucky to know that they will be reunited with their loved ones again. That families can be together forever, no matter how soon one passes away. They will forever live in the hearts of many, never forgotten, and will be able to see and hold each other again.

This made a huge impact on me, and the way that I can stay mad at someone for so long, it is something that I have been working on. Forgive and Forget. But its hard to do that for me. So hug the people you love most, don't stay mad forever, and always remember to say I love you. You never know when it might be the last day you will get to say it.

RIP Colby, Alex, Jordan, and Tanner.

XOXO, Tere

  1. I'm so sorry to read this. My heart goes out to their families and friends, as well.
You're right, things like this always remind me to tell the people I love how much they mean to me while I can. I doubt you can ever say "I love you" too much :)

  3. My heart broke when I heard about this. Dave knew one of the boys really well and he took it hard and I knew one of them a little bit too. It's such a sad story!

  7. Wasn't that a horrible HORRIBLE accident? I didn't know the boys either, but I had many friends who live down in Southern Utah that were really upset and posting blogs/facebooks about them and it just breaks my heart. I think you're smart to look at it in a way to positively alter your life though. I also can hold grudges and need to learn to forgive easier.
